Autograft of Demineralized Dentin Matrix Prepared Immediately after Extraction for Horizontal Bone Augmentation of the Anterior Atrophic Maxilla: A First Case of Non-Vital Tooth-Derived Dentin

Onlay bone augmentation is a challenging field, especially in esthetic zones. In implant dentistry, labial loss generally recovered through autologous and/or biomaterials. Dental pioneers have been applying patient-own demineralized dentin matrix (DDM) for regeneration. The aim of this study was to histologically and radiologically evaluate horizontal on an anterior atrophic maxilla using autograft non-vital tooth-derived DDM implant. A 56-year-old female patient presented with severe loss. Autologous immediately prepared ridge augmentation. blocks were fixed titanium screws lateral granules grafted the between blocks. Twelve months postoperatively, biopsy performed from placement point histological observation. X-ray computed tomography (CT) before after graft surgery. Hematoxylin eosin sections showed that new bones directly generated residue. CT images original buccal lines root-type wall-type DDM. DDMs clearly found bone. outlines 22nd region indicated 8.11 mm width placements compared 4.95 Additionally, at upper level increased 3.38 5.92 mm. scaffolds contributed bony support required place implants. experienced therapeutic success immediate
